A feature designed to keep you motivated every day, at your own pace, while helping you earn more and more Wards.
The step counter, fixed and personalized goals
The step counter has been updated to be easier to understand, more motivating, and more rewarding.
(Re)discover the fixed goals and your new green star — a personalized goal based on your walking habits.
What are the fixed goals and the green star?
Fixed goals are step targets that let you earn Wards each time you reach one. There are 5 step goals, the same for all WeWarders!
Number of steps | Reward in Wards |
2,500 | 1W |
5,000 | 3W |
10,000 | 8W |
15,000 | 13W |
20,000 | 23W |
The green star is a personalized goal, calculated based on the steps you’ve taken over the past 4 weeks.
It can appear anywhere on your step counter — before, between, or after the fixed goals — and awards 2 Wards when you reach it.
This means you can earn up to 23 Wards per day by reaching the 5 fixed goals, and up to 25 Wards if you also reach the green star!
How is my green star goal calculated?
It’s based on the average number of steps you take per day (not just the steps converted in the app).
WeWard collects your physical activity data from the Apple Health or Google Fit app over the last 28 days to estimate your personalized goal as accurately as possible.
Your personalized goal is updated every Monday to keep up with your pace.
If you don’t have enough history, don’t worry: a default goal of 6,000 steps will be automatically assigned to help you progress quickly.
Your goal will be updated again the following Monday!
