A Vintage chapter is a chapter of WeCards that is no longer available for collection.
In order to guarantee a satisfying experience and allow our users to regularly discover new chapters, certain collections are given vintage status after a defined period of time.
Vintage chapters can be recognized by a special icon in the shape of a “V”.

In concrete terms, this means:
you can no longer collect Vintage WeCards while walking
These WeCards are no longer available in packs (except during dedicated sales events).
you will no longer be able to obtain these WeCards through ads or any other feature that allows you to earn these cards
But don't worry:
👉 You can still trade your vintage cards with other users
👉 Vintage cards already in your collection remain visible
These WeCards then become like a hidden treasure 💎
Why do some chapters become vintage?
It's to help you complete your collections more easily !
With new chapters being added regularly, it's becoming harder to find the WeCards you're missing. By making some older chapters vintage:
you are more likely to get a WeCard from a new chapter
you have a better chance of finding the best WeCards with packs, advertising, and walking
This way, the WeCards experience remains fun, dynamic, and motivating
How do WeCards become Vintage?
A selection of vintage chapters is made once a month.
You will always be notified in advance, thanks to:
a gray badge displayed next to the relevant chapters
a notification to give you a last chance to complete them
What if I don't finish on time?
No worries 😊 you can always:
Trade your missing cards with other players; they are visible in your collection
Fingers crossed🤞: some vintage chapters may return during special events... although we can't promise anything!
