WeWard is a community app: certain elements of your profile may be visible to other users.
If you want to limit this visibility, you can switch your account to “private mode” at any time.
What can other users see if my account is public?
In public mode, your profile can be viewed by all users.
They can view:
- 📛 Your profile picture and username
- 💰 Your Wards balance
- 🔥 Your streak (number of days validated) and your achievements
- ⭐ Your XP count (level and weekly ranking) and league ranking
- 🎗️ Your Challenge level
- 👥 Your followers and subscriptions
- 🖼️ Your WeCards wishlist
This helps foster a sense of community and motivation among users.
What does private mode change?
When you activate private mode:
✅ Only your followers can see your profile, and you can control who can follow you
✅ Other users can no longer view your statistics outside of your mutual followers and subscriptions
⚠️ Please note:
You will remain visible in the weekly league rankings
You will remain visible in the WeCards friends and exchange search engine, however, our exchange algorithm will no longer suggest your profile.
👉 Private mode does not make your account completely invisible, but it greatly limits access to your data.
How do I make my account private?
- Open the WeWard app.
- Go to your Profile
- Open the Settings
- Under Preferences
Tap Privacy. - Under Account Privacy
Enable or disable the Private Account option
Some changes may take up to 24 hours to take effect (particularly for WeCard exchanges).You can switch back to public mode whenever you want.
Does private mode block my earnings?
No.
You will continue to earn Wards and XP as normal.
Will my friends still be able to see me?
Yes.
If they are among your followers.
Does private mode prevent me from appearing in the rankings?
No.
Your position remains visible.
Does private mode prevent you from exchanging WeCards?
No.
However, you will no longer appear in compatible profiles on our exchange platform .
