Welcome to the world of WeWard Communities
Accessible from the Social tab of the app, Community is a simple and engaging way to encourage your friends or colleagues to walk, turning your steps into a force for collective impact.
Whether you walk with friends or colleagues, create or join a community, compare yourselves in the step rankings, and track your collective statistics.
Starting November 26, 2025: it will no longer be possible to accumulate Wards within Communities.
The display and donation of Wards will be gradually removed with new versions of the App (starting with 8.0.2) .
We have removed the feature for sharing Wards within communities in order to refocus the experience on what matters most: walking together, sharing your progress, and taking on challenges as a group!
If your community has more than 20,000 Wards, the administrator has until December 8, 2025 to convert them.
After this date, all Wards will be automatically re-credited to each member in proportion to their personal contribution.
If the community has not reached 20,000 Wards by December 8, don't worry: the Wards will also be returned to each member, again according to their individual contribution.

How to create your own community 📘
Create a WeWard Community to walk together, share your efforts, and make an impact, step by step.
Here are the steps, step by step, to create your own community
- Go to the Social Communities tab.
- Tap Create a community
- Accept the Terms and Conditions and tap Get Started.
- Choose a name and add a description (optional) before confirming by tapping Create.
- Add a banner by uploading a photo if you want to personalize your community
- Create teams to encourage challenges between groups. This is optional
- Finalize the creation by clicking Create, then share the link or QR code to invite new members
- Send out the invitations!
How do I join a community? 🙋
To join a community, you must click on the invitation link shared by the administrator or members, or scan the QR code.
This link is unique to each community and allows new members to join directly.
How do I invite my friends? 📨
From your community's main page, tap Share and select the best channel according to your preferences. You can also send the link or QR code directly to your friends and family.

How do I leave a community?
Open your community settings by tapping the gear icon ⚙ in the top right corner of your screen.
Tap “Leave Community.”

An interactive table allows you to filter results by different periods to determine the most active members!

Managing members and teams as an administrator 👥
As the creator, you are automatically the administrator of your community.
This means you can appoint administrators, remove members, and even create and dissolve teams by accessing the various features from the settings ⚙
