Please note that you cannot connect your Samsung watch directly to the WeWard application.
If you have a Samsung watch, here are the different steps to follow to pair it with WeWard:
1️⃣ Download the Samsung Health app and sync it with your watch.
This step is essential since it will allow you to save the data from the Samsung watch to the Samsung Health app.
2️⃣ Sync Samsung Health data to Google fit.
3️⃣ Make sure that the Samsung Health app and Google Fit are paired.
4️⃣ In the settings of the WeWard app, click on "Step data source" and select Google Fit.
5️⃣ When using your Samsung watch, you have to sync it with Samsung Health so that this data will be uploaded to Google Fit and then to WeWard.
6️⃣ Make sure you have the latest version of the WeWard app.
7️⃣ Open the application before your daily walks (making sure your phone doesn't automatically close it) and convert your steps regularly 🙂
There might be a difference between the steps recorded in each app. This is related to the data transfer between your watch, your phone, and the apps.
You may find the same problem if you simultaneously use your phone and smartwatch. Unfortunately, this is beyond our control 😕. This is related to adjustments made by the Google Fit app.
Happy walking 👣
